Hi,

Is it possible to run a regression with fixed effects in SAS Enterprise Miner?

Hi @NickyM,

I consulted Enterprise Guide expert down the hall, @ChrisHemedinger. He said there is a Mixed Models task in EG, and you can run PROC MIXED or GLIMMIX in a program node. SAS/STAT is required.

Regression Node is always run FIXED effect .

I am sure PROC MIXED/GLIMMIX is not included in SAS/EM .

So it's not possible to run a regression like this in SAS EM? :

Yes. I think so. But you can add interact effect like A*B to simulate mixed effect.

EM is for Data Mining/Machine Learning , unlike the traditional Stat ,It is more suited for Pattern Recognition ,Prediction Model .

Ok thanks!! Sorry, last question:

Do you know if it's possible to run this type of regression in Enterpise Guide? and how?

NO. You are unable to run Mixed Model as far as I know.

Maybe some expert from sas would shed you a light .
