Cannot edit variabls in SAS Enterprise Miner

From the File Import node, I am trying to Edit Variables from the properties panel. When I click on the ellipsis to right ot Edit Varibles, I see spinner and then a flash of what I am guessing is the edit variables window but it disappears immediately. I've tried using the alt+space+M solution suggested by SAS but that isn't working. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Have you found a usage note or problem note talking about this?

I would definitely do the latter (contacting TS) with questions like this one.

I have used Enterprise Miner for more than a decade (almost two decades) until 2018 (using Model Studio in VIYA nowadays) but I cannot remember this behavior.
I must admit though I was rarely uploading external files into Enterprise Miner (File Import node). I always had an Analytical Base Table in SAS format (in a SAS library).
