Hello,

(9.2 BI) I would like to establish a connection to another environment , basically prod, from the development  and surface certain data in a particular repository in the development environment. I started from MC and started with a connection, and chose SAS Server, but I don't know what type to use ( a SAS application server? and if so, then a SAS Connect? )

Thanks,jp

Depends on what/how your are going to do.

What is the intended client application?

Just for surfacing data, you can just in your server connection specify your prod env (i.e. from EG and DIS).

Please describe in more detail your scope!
