I've verified that the directory exists and is properly configured.  What might the problem be?

Could it be that the first time you started the vApp the SASWorkspace Shared Folder was not configured properly in VMWare Player?

Anyway, could you try the following:

1. Shutdown your vApp (do not use suspend)

2. Remove the vApp (empty the directory containing the .vmx file)

3. Remove all files and sub-directories inside your Shared Folder

3. Extract the vApp from the zip file again

4. In VMware Player check that the SASWorkspace is defined properly.

   * Click on the properties button so the Shared Folder properties are shown,

   * Then click on the Browse... button to verify that it points to the right location and that you have write access to that location,

   * Make sure the Enabled box is checked and the Read-only box is unchecked

   * Click on OK

5. Start your vApp (and start your Hadoop VM)

Hopefully you will now be able to open a web browser and use SAS Information Center to start the configuration task. If that task runs fine, the SAS Data Loader button should appear and you should be able to see the SAS Data Loader web UI.

Cheers,

Wilbram

Wilbram,

Your suggestion worked!  Thanks again.  I'm still not quite there yet.  I get the following errors when trying to apply the license:
