Hi all,
I get confused about the function of SAS PC files server.
1) We are using SAS server under linux, and I am thinking if the SAS PC files server installed, then you are able to access files on your local folder, right?
2) Then do you still need to share local directory as a network resource and mount it on the Linux server?
I guess I do not know what's the function difference between using procedure 1) and 2). Could you please clarify this? Thank you!
Thanks,
Jade
The PC Files Server assists in accessing Microsoft Office files. A shared network resource enables accessing all types of files that can be read/written with a data step or proc import/export.
