Use parameter in SAS DI

Hi All, 

What is the use of the parameter tab in SAS DI Job ? PFB is screenshot of the same.

What is use of Prompt , will it used for sending some variable value while running the DI job?

Yes but it's static (you won't be prompted) in DI Studio session.
One use is to send in parameters from an outer job using the loop transform.
The parameters defined occurs as macro variables which you could use for logic and assignment in the job.
