Uploading and copying file to and from SFTP site

Hi All,

I am trying to upload as well as retrieve a file from my pc to the SFTP site. Can someone please tell me what will be the sas code for both of these.

Do you have a local SAS installation, or does your SAS run on a server? Which frontend do you use, Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio or Display Manager?

I have sas base installed on a local PC. I can use Enterprise Guide if I need to.

Start by searching the SAS documentation (documentation.sas.com) using your key words file and SFTP. You will get answers faster that way. You first need to set up passwordless (public/private key) authentication to your target servers.

From the documentation of FILENAME SFTP, I take it that SAS uses putty on Windows platforms (see example #3 in the link).
