1- What is the requirement installfor calling R from SAS?

2- what are the sas modules ( IML, …) allowed to call R from SAS

3- It is possible to call R from SAS, what’s about calling SAS from R

I believe that (1) and (2) are covered in the SAS/IML documentation: "Calling Functions in the R language."

You cannot call SAS from R in SAS 9.4. However, if you are using SAS Viya then check out the SWAT package for calling CAS actions from R.
