Hi - Installed SAS Management Console 9.4 M5 client. SAS Management Console started, the splash screen appeared, disappeared, and then nothing. I followed the SAS Note - http://support.sas.com/kb/59/113.html as mentioned by Paul Holmes (https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Data-Management/I-can-t-Open-SAS-Management-Console-amp-SAS-Data-...). However I am still not able to launch SAS Management Console. I am using Windows 7 Professional. Please help me out in this regard. Really appreciate your help.
Attached log files (one command line and interactive) for reference.
Thank You

The SAS MC log you posted looks like it is missing some of the required JAR files. If rebuilding the VJR cache doesn't resolve the issue then I would suggest uninstalling/reinstalling SAS MC on that client (perhaps there were issues during the install or something has been deleted subsequently?). Otherwise your best bet would be to contact SAS Technical Support.
Take a look at this post - it may help: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Data-Management/I-can-t-Open-SAS-Management-Console-amp-SAS-Data-...
Hi PaulHomes - Thanks for sharing the information. I tried your approach of deleting/renaming the file C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASVersionedJarRepository\eclipse\com.sas.app.launcher.cacheFile (as mentioned in http://support.sas.com/kb/59/113.html for Foundation SAS). Still NOT able to launch SAS Management Console client successfully.
Please advise/suggest. Your help is really appreciated.
Thank You
