Hi,

Within mapping part I need to introduce new column and to set its value for all rows (for example set it to string "test").

I presume I set it in "expression" part when defining that new column, but I didn't find the right way to do that.

Can someone give me a hint how to do that?

Thanks!

So ... My bad. 🙂

I tried to set string with single quotes and needed double quotes (in "expression" field when I defined new column).

That is the "right" way, or what do you mean?

DI Studio generates SAS code.
In SAS programming (and most other languages) character constants should be within single or double quotes.
What have you tried?
