Hi,
Can someone point out to any documentation that list the functional differences between SAS Data Integration Studio 4.9 available in SAS 9.4M7 vs SAS Data Studio available in SAS Viya 2022.1.4
This documentation link should help. It appears that SAS Studio (not SAS Data Studio) is not currently a direct replacement for SAS DI Studio, but the plan is to add more data management features in later releases. I assume that means you will need to keep using SAS DI Studio in the meantime.
Thank You for the reply.
Yes, as @SASKiwi points out, DI/DM features will be available in SAS Studio, in an extension called "Engineer".
Some features have already been released, but you probably have to wait until next spring/summer to get something that is corresponding to DI Studio feature wise.
Thanks for the reply. I will look up the features of SAS Studio Engineer
Hi
This is, as of today (09/2022) the split between the different Studio versions:
Studio Analyst is addressing SAS Enterprise Guide users, and SAS Studio Engineer targets SAS Data Integration Studio users
@VincentRejany - That's a very useful feature comparison. Is it available on a SAS public web page?
Here is a comparison in the SAS Documentation: SAS Help Center: Summary of Flow Functionality
