hi,

Sometimes I get an Error with a lookup transformation in SAS DI. The error is: Lookup: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0.

I have the impression that it has something to do with the number of records in the lookup table but I can't verify it. Does anyone know what is going on here?

Thanks,

Berry

Thanks for the advice.

The problem is solved now. Turned out to be a problem with the input ports of the lookup transformation. When I connected a lookup table to an empty input port of the lookup transformation the error occured. When I added a new input port and then connected the lookup table to the new input port, the error was gone..

Regards,

Berry

Since it's a Java error, I think it's some kind of problem with either the DIS GUI, or metadata related.

Check in the metdata server log to see if there are any related exceptions there.

There are also a log file at the DIS client machine, the place is version dependent.

In what situation do you get the error?

I think a ticket to SAS tech support would be the proper way to go.
