Hi All ,

Is it possible to Run/Call Unix Script with help of SAS DI (4.6) ?

Reason is Basically i want to remove the dependency of cron job,so i can monitor it with help of scheduling tool (eg. LSF) .

Do you want to call a script from a DI Studio job, or run DI Studio job from a script?
1. Yes. Use call system or X statement in user written code.
2. Yes. The command to run a job is in the deployed job. If LSF is your choice you can deploy flows/jobs from Management Console.

I want to call a Unix Script from a DI Studio job.So i think answer is to use sysexec or X command in user written code. Then i will schedule this job and run with LSF which on back end call Unix by DI .
