Just want to ask a quick question: SSH(using PuTTY or other SSH tools) to SAS server at Linux is recommended or not?
If you need commandline access, SSH clients are the way to go.
Thank you, KurtBremser!
Is there any reason that the SSH to SAS server Linux is not recommended?

Not for me. Some people claim "security", but that is a strawman IMO. I can wreck a mis-managed system quite as easy from SAS as from the commandline.
