Hi,

A user is trying to create a new library to connect to Impala Hadoop. He is using new library wizard in DI studio. The issue is that he is not prompted for user name and password and its defaulted to Auth Domain.

He hasn't got credentials for Auth Domain, but username and password. He can use lib name statement in EG and can connect easily but having issue connecting via DI because of this Auth Domain issue.

Can someone please help?

Kind Regards,

Hi,

The authentication domain for a new library comes from the Database Server definition.

You can change the Connection properties of your Impala server definition in SAS Management Console. On the Options tab in the Connection properties of the Database Server you can select "Prompt" or "User/Password" as the Authentication type. For User/Password you can specify an Authentication domain. You may need to create a new Authentication domain if you don't have one for connecting to Impala.
