Hi

When using parallel processing with the loop transformation: Is the number of CPU nodes based on the value of option CPUCOUNT? Or is this number retrieved independently?

Thanks
Patrick

We first try to obtain the # of cpus from sas function provided by the SAS/Connect team, because we might be running on a grid, and the grid system has to tell us CPU nodes; the function is grdsvc_nnodes("SASApp") where "SASApp" was workspace server name.

If that fails, then we use the automatic macro variable, SYSNCPU. Not sure how that relates to the option.
