 Hi,

I am quite new in SAS Data Integration Studio, Can somebody help me with a data integration studio job that I need to create that will stop whenever there are missing observations in a created dataset.

We will be having two external files. one for the actual data and one for the record count text file for record count comparison. I will attach some text files as sample for a file with a missing observation.

The job will also be creating a dataset with variables (job name, record count, actual record count, status/remarks)  and a text file whenever the job was stopped or successful.

Thanks in advance for the answers.

Sounds like a job for a macro, which you can call from the Post step from the transformation where you want to have the check (and potential halt).
