How does SAS University edition through AWS EC2 instance remotely connect to my DB2 database?

Hi there,

I just subscribed the SAS university through my Amazon AWS instance (Linux cloud server). It works fine with local files.

Is it possible by using this SAS university edition to remotely connect to my DB2 sample database? I think it has SAS/Access

module. 

At work, I can use my SAS to connect to my DB2 sample database through ODBC. However, I am not sure if I use SAS univerisity

edition to do the same connection at home. Pls advise.

SAS UE does not connect to external databases such as DB2 or Oracle. You would need a full version of SAS.
