"Best" is a relative word.

What is your requirement?

What does you information/data flow/storage pattern look like?

Distributed or non distributed LASR?

Best way to load HBASE/phonix to LASR (both batch & Trigger based).

Present we are using HIVE to load the Hbase files.

Can I loade the HBase files directly to the LASR..?

Yes, you can upload via SAS/ACCESS to Hadoop.

It's also possible to do load increments (inserts only). Not sure if that's covering what you call "direct".

But before you are doing any permanent design decisions, I think you need to explore the details of loading data to LASR.

So I suggest that you read through the admin/user guides, and check your design with an experienced VA architect.
