Expression component doesn't have input tab

Hello everyone,

I've been following the steps of the article:

In my DMS, the expression component doesn't have input tab:

In the article, the component has the input tab:

What could be happening?
My DMS is 2.8 version.

Checked both 2.8 and 2.9, and input/output are there on my installation.

I believe the article is referring to the Expression node at the Process level, found in the Utilities category.  That one does indeed have the Inputs tab.  You might be seeing the Expression node at the Data Job level, which does not have the Inputs tab, as shown in your pic.  I also went straight to this node at the Data level to check, and then remembered the other Expression node at the higher, Process level.  See if this answers your question.
