Has anyone encountered the error below while writing to hadoop?
Can you please share some insight and how you got around it.
ERROR: java.sql.SQLException: org.apache.thrift.transport.TTransportException:
java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed

Can you tell us which Hadoop distribution you are using, provide a code sample which reproduces the error, and include the entire error message (Java dump)?

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your response.
The hadoop distribution is Hortonworks and hadoop version is 2.7.1.2.3.4.23-3.
Attached is a full dump of the log...luckily I used sastrace= option.
I see the same error when I am closing my sas session in the log window as well....I attach as well.

Your KNOX_GATEWAY_URL= value does not include the Knox port number. This could be a problem.
OPTIONS SET=KNOX_GATEWAY_URL='https://knox-dev.some-madeup-corp.com/gateway/default';
Have you installed the SAS Hotfix for Knox?
