When moving metadata around using DI Studio, it's convenient to just use drag-and-drop.  This has worked great when keeping within the bounds of a given top-level folder in DI Studi, and it also works fine for non-folder objects (e.g. selecting a job and a few datasets and moving them all via drag/drop).  However, it will not work for when attempting to drag a subfolder from one top-level folder and drop it into any other top-level folder.

Has anyone else encountered this?  Is that expected behavior, or is there a setting somewhere that perhaps I could toggle to get it working?

I spoke with SAS Tech Support on this and, for whatever reason, that's just the way it is.  What we can do is right-click on a subfolder and select either "Move to..." or "Copy to..." in order to move subfolders between top-level folders.
