Developed "connectors" with SAS APIs

I heard this topics few days ago and i don't understand what is this means. I know the SAS Programming but not familiar with this topics. So could you give me any idea or useful links on it.

Check IOM  ( Intelligent Open Model  ) ,which can make SAS communicate with C# and Java. It is totally different with stand alone PC SAS .
