Hi ,

While configuring sas data management data studio for connection with oracle using ODBC in windows platform , whether data source should be given same name as schema name , other wise the data source control through an error like "insufficient information" in running the job?

Similarly , data source name should be same while configuring ODBC connection on server end as used in data jobs created in data flux data management studio.

so that data jobs imported in batch jobs of data management server riser , run successfully.

Is that mean all the schemas in database should have corresponding data source name at local ODBC DSN configuration as well as ODBC DSN configuration at server end(DMS).

Please confirm.

Thanks and Regards,

Ritu Raj

Hi

If you want to run a SAS DataFlux data/process job on SAS DataFlux DM Server, connection names have to be the same between the studio and the server.

As far as I know, ODBC connections in DataFlux are schemaless, and you should see the all the schemas your db user has access to.

Don't forget to save your credentials by right clicking on the connection and "save". The credentials should be also copied on the server.
