Hello Experts
I'am wondering if there is a way to specify  DBMAX_TEXT globally like a general option.
From what I can see we can "only" specify it via "libname" or "proc sql connect to" but not as a global option.
Can you help me on it?
Thanks
Fabrice

Hi Fabrice,

I can see why you would want this. But is is documented only as an option as LIBNAME and DATASET option. So you're out of luck.

You could always send in a SASWare Ballot entry but that doesn't help you on the short term. I can imagine there are some implementation issues to this, like when multiple dbms's are being accessed simultaneously.

Good luck,

-- Jan.
