Tell how you've used SAS to have a positive impact on your community?
At Abbott, I am a part of the GDSA (Global Data Science & Analytics) team where I work on generating product surveillance reports that will be submitted to the FDA to ensure the safety and efficiency of Abbott’s Medical Devices. These reports are instrumental in monitoring the safety and effectiveness of Abbott’s products and ensuring that patients have continued access to these live saving technologies.
What SAS products are you using and how are you using them?
I use SAS 9 for data analysis and to generate comprehensive product surveillance reports. Leveraging SAS, these reports are presented in a more understandable and insightful format.
What was your most surprising discovery about your work?
The continuous learning needed in my job was surprising. However I appreciate the new learning opportunities each project brings along with new challenges.
