After a data item is added or modified in the on-premise information map (e.g., a data item custom property changed from Level=Nominal to Level=Interval) one has to let Customer Intelligence 360 know about it.
You can do this in one of two following ways. Try option (a) first. If after implementing option (a) and waiting 10-15 minutes you do not see your data item in Customer Intelligence 360 then do option (b).
a) Run the Direct Marketing agent dm.sh sdi command to send the data item hierarchy to SAS Customer Intelligence 360.
$ ./dm.sh sdi --bcName "BC_One"
Data item hierarchy sent successfully. Time: 5.462 secs.
b) Set the "disablemetaupload" variable in the cionprem.properties file to "false" and restart the Direct Marketing agent. When the Direct Marketing Agent starts it will send both data items hierarchy and the data item metadata values to Customer Intelligence 360. Note that this can take about 10-15 minutes to complete.
If you encountering the following error:
$ ./dm.sh sdi --bcName "BC_One"
Error completing request: org.springframework.web.client.HttpServerErrorException: 500 Internal Server Error
Error: Error publishing data items event:
- Make sure only one Direct Marketing agent is running against the same tenant.
- Make sure there are no Segment Map / DM Tasks executing when running the dm.sh sdi command.
