Hello Everyone,

We are used to create calculated variables in MA 6.5 and wondering after the transition to CI 360, is this is possible and what is the best approach to create calculated variables/items in SAS CI 360 ?

Hi faisalbasraw,

Calculated Variables are presently not available in CI360, but are on the product roadmap – hopefully soon. In the meantime you can create an Calculated Data Item in the information map.

Regards

James

Thanks James.
Would you mind sharing tentative/estimated roadmap timeline for calculated variables to be available in CI 360, this will help us greatly for planning our migration to SAS CI 360.

SAS have implemented custom user variables at my company (as at November 2021). I'd call it a work around and would rather modify the information map to suit (but the feature now exists)
