Hi All,

 

We have an CI environmented based on an Window Server, on which our campaigns execute,  However we have been noticing for few days its throwsup error both in our Object Spawner as well as In our PooledWorkspace Log.

 

The error we are observing in the ObjectSpawner Log is as belows

- The Balanced algorithm timed out before a server could be found.

- Failed to redirect client to available server in cluster SASMAApp- Logical Pooled Workspace Server.

 

and in the PooledWorkSpace log , we observe entries such as

- The TCP/IP tcpSockBind support routine failed with error 10048(the specified address is already in use)

- Bridge Protocol Engine socket access method was unable to bind th listen socket to port 8811.

 

any typical reason for this sudden spring of error and typical resolutions / best practice we need to adhere too.

The first thing to ask is "what has changed?".

Any parameter files, SW or OS upgrades, authorization etc.

 

Have you tried to restart (server(s) in the environment)?

If you can't get it to work, I'd open a track to SAS tech support.
