How we can add new AD group in email notification in SASCI

Please help me in the below query  

Currently we are missing newly created AD group in SAS CI tool for notification tab.

 we have existing setup in SAS CI tool for notifications, whenever we choose notification tab from SAS CI tool,

it is populating existing AD groups which are  readily available in SAS Management console(smc).

Problem statement :

I have created new AD group,which is readily available in SAS Management console.

 I am selecting notification tab in SAS CI tool ,the newly created AD group is not reflecting in list of groups.

Current setup in our environment is Metadata sync up groups happening thorough AD sync macro(sas program) which is running on daily basis even tough the newly created AD group which is not reflecting in notification tab.  

How we can pull AD group in to SAS CI tool ?

Hi Pavan4,

The only metadata groups/users that are visible in CI are the ones which have been assigned a CI role (either directly or via inheritance from some other group). The minimum role is "Customer Intelligence: Usage". For more information about the various roles and groups please see Pg 47 of the Marketing Automation 6.5 Administration Guide. 

Once you have assigned a role to the group you wish to send notifications to via SMC, it should become visible in the notifications tab in CI Studio.
