On January 30 at 12 -13 CET, SAS UK runs an Ask the Expert webinar on SAS SQL vs Fed SQL. It is complimentary to join, so if you have an interest, you can learn the following:

About the webinar

FedSQL is a SAS implementation of the ANSI standard, which can be executed in SAS9, the SAS Viya compute server, or the SAS Viya CAS server. Being closer to the ANSI standard, it has some differences from proc SQL and some advantages - for example, support for more data types. This webinar covers the key points to enable an informed

decision on which procedure to use.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • Syntax differences between proc SQL and FedSQL.
  • Key features of each procedure
  • How much code refactoring is appropriate?
