As a SAS and FANS Partner, we find the FANS events an excellent way of meeting our existing customers in a more informal way and to meet new potential customers.
As we are advisors to SAS customers, it is very important to know about SAS News before or at the same time as the customers.
Utilizing the FANS benefits
I think the highest value my co-workers get from the FANS membership, would be getting involved in SAS FANS groups specializing within one area, for example SAS® Visual Analytics or SAS® Admin. Here we increase our own knowledge at the same time as we mentor customers as specialists.
Specializations are important. We need to have the edge to evolve as SAS experts. Without the specializations FANS Network events will only be customer-facing events for us.”

This year we are 16 colleagues from Infotrek travelling to SAS® Global Forum, kicking off with Partner Forum the day before. We see Global Forum as a very important event providing us with an opportunity to increase our SAS knowledge and make connections both with customers and within SAS.
