In the past, determining release information for SAS software might have been challenging. Our customers often called SAS Technical Support and ask the questions:

  • When was a SAS product released?
  • Which release level is it under?
  • Which products are in a revision?

These frequent questions sparked our commitment to provide a detailed hub containing release and version information for all SAS products. Thus, the following SAS installation notes were born to address these concerns:

  • SAS Note 50493: “Determining your SAS® 9.4 release and which products are in each revision”
  • SAS Note 44477: “Determining your SAS® 9.3 release and which products are in each revision”
  • SAS Note 35627: “Determining your SAS® 9.2 release and which products are in each revision”

They provide a comprehensive list of release information, including

  • Release numbers and dates
  • Revision numbers
  • Products in each revision
  • Product version numbers

In addition, the SAS notes explain how to determine revision numbers of current SAS installations. Their table of contents provide an easy-to-use overview of release and revision information with active links that allows SAS customers to jump to the revisions under each TS level. All three SAS notes cross reference each other and include other relevant resources in the Additional Information section towards the bottom of each note.

Armed with these SAS notes and the information that they contain, SAS customers now have powerful tools for keeping track of SAS software releases and other vital information related to them.

That is good news, but your links to the SAS notes are broken.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the heads up, the links should be corrected now!

Hi,

I am wondering if someone could please add SAS 9.4 (TS1M5) Revisions?

Thanks.
