Lesson 2 :

When pulling data from the client machine and using the Hadoop system to distribute the data across several machines' discs.  Is it true that the only required variable is a text variable?  Does SAS need a document-level ID variable?  Is it true that SAS generates a ID variables for each document, _uniqueid_.

Thank you,

Bill Donaldson

I found the solution in the notes.  There is no need for others to respond.

BTW, the only variable that is required when using pipelines is a text variable. _UniqueID_ is SAS generated.
