Hi ,
Currently i am studying for 220 Exam. I have trouble in understanding the odds ratio in a simple way ( maybe also because english is my second language 🙂 ) is there a rule of thump to use ? How to convert the Odds into Probability how to know this a dollar or thousand dollar ? using Age is it one year younger or older.
Can you give me easy answer for the attached results ? in both "Odds" terminology and "probabitliy" terms ?
Thanks ,

Hi:
My suggestion is that you revisit Chapter 7 in the Statistics 1 class. There is a section there about Interpreting Odds Ratio that looks like it is using the same data as in your screen shot:
You can also get the transcript of the lecture by clicking the button for transcript at the lower left side of the screen under the video.
The screen shot you pasted looks like it comes directly out of this demo Print Version
Demo: Fitting a Multiple Logistic Regression Model with Categorical Predictors Using PROC LOGISTIC
in Statistics 1:
And the transcript of the explanation goes over the table.
