Hello,
I'm currently enrolled in the SAS Academy for Data Science and I'm taking a course on Data Curation. So far in this course, I have accessed the SAS Data Integration Studio to follow along on the demonstrations and complete activities. As I followed the presenter using my software, I had trouble with display of some user interfaces. One trouble was that the options interface didn't display the sections of "Layout, Default Zoom, Sticky Note Color, and Deploy as Stored Process". In addition "The maximum number of warnings and errors to display per step" has been left blank with a small text box on my screen compared to my presenters that displayed 20 on her text box. I have followed all the steps up to this point and some displays in my options interface are missing. I have included two images of this issue. So far, I was able to adjust the windows and work area sizes in the job editor and adjust the options window sizing successfully, I have reported the server connection error to technical support, and I was able to see my saved image the next day after successfully cancelling my reservation. Here are the two pictures to explain my issues above.

I had a chance to ask some of the class instructors about this comparison of screen shots. One who was available today said this:
"It looks as if some of the content of the Options window is "squeezed" out because of insufficient screen resolution. I have run into similar problems with the Options window in DI Studio. The Options window cannot be resized, so to resolve this, one has to increase the screen pixel size (Display Resolution)."
You did not indicate what browser you were using for your Virtual Lab reservation. We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox (not Edge, not Safari) when you click the Launch Virtual Lab button. I would recommend starting out with the default Virtual Lab image resolution and do not click Ctrl and + to increase the browser window.
If you do not have any success with this suggestion, then there is a button for "Need Help" on the right side of the screen in your class (should be under the Virtual Lab Reservation System area). You can click that in order to open a track with the Virtual Lab support team. That would be a faster way of getting help because they can look at which image you were using and help you resolve the issue..

I have used Google Chrome Web Browser to make a virtual lab reservation to access Data Integration Studio and accepted the virtual lab image resolution. I also didn't modify anything outside of the instructions given to me in the course material, but this problem persisted. Thanks for your help and referral.

The instructor indicated that when he changes his resolution to 800x600 in his browser, that he was able to get the same "squashed" window that you saw. If you did not change the resolution on your image, then you'll want to use the Need Help button to open a track with the Virtual Lab support team so they can check the resolution on the image.

I will try this out.
