Dear Friends,

I have recently subscribed to the 30 day trial being offered for Learning subscription & Data Scientist program.

Would like your help to understand, if on completing any course under Learning subscription as well as 1 of the 3 courses under Data scientists, gets u a certificate of completion?

Or you just get a acclaim badge?

Do you get a acclaim badge for "AI & Machine Learning Professional" as well post u complete the course under data scientist program

Hi:
The Acclaim badge is a digital badge and should be considered the same as a printed certificate of completion for the training. But remember that the classes are only the training. So a "certificate of completion" or badge for completing the training is different than a "certification credential" that you earn by taking graded exams.

For the SAS Academy for Data Science classes, you do not earn the Data Scientist credential until you take and pass the graded exams for each of the levels. The Data Science student must take and pass the current Data Curation graded exam (or the former Big Data Professional exams); and then must also take and pass 3 analytic exams for the level that they choose: either Advanced Analytics Professional level (9 classes/3 exams) or the AI&ML level (5 classes/3 exams).

The certification credential that you earn for taking the graded exams through Pearson VUE will also offer digital badges as proof of earning the certification credential. When you finish with the exams and have passed them, you will have Acclaim badges for completing the training and also have Acclaim badges for taking and passing the graded exams.

Hope this clarifies the difference between doing the training and getting a completion badge and passing the exam and earning a certification credential.

Cynthia
