Hello,

Please see attachment.

My first choice was "ls" but then I recalled that I saw the combination "hdfs dfs  ..."  in a demo.  I then convinced myself that "ls"was just a LINUX command for listing files and subdirectories.

Is "dfs" not a valid hdfs command that can be executed using the HADOOP procedure ?

Also is there a link where I can see the various HDFS commands and their usage ?

Thanks.

Odesh.

Hi:

Please refer to the documentation https://go.documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=proc&docsetTarget=n0sksf47t7lheen11ay3w7490o5x.htm&docset... as shown below:

You can always refer to the main documentation site, here: https://support.sas.com/en/documentation.html , which is searchable to answer questions like this. Or, refer back to your e-learning course. Specifically, Chapter 2, section 2 in the Introduction to SAS and Hadoop course shows some of the HDFS commands and at the end of the lecture, the narrator refers to the fact that more commands have been added (including for LISTING):

Hope this helps clarify your resources for answering these kinds of questions.
