Is it possible to amend the default display options used to create the histograms/bar charts in the Explore Window when assessing the distribution of input variables?
For instance, I would like to have a number of bins for histograms of 20 for all interval variables and change frequency to percentage as the metric for bar charts for all class variables. It's rather time consuming having to amend each individual chart manually
Many thanks for providing this page number and additional details. Currently no default setting is available to modify the default number of bins (10). Therefore at this point we have to manually adjust this number.
My apologies.
An example is given in "Applied Analytics Using SAS Enterprise Miner", "Lesson 5: Regression Models Using SAS Enterprise Miner", "Using the Transform Variables Tool to Transform Inputs"
Please include the Page numbers of the course pdf or sections where the default display option of the explore window is mentioned.
Thanks
George
An example is given at page 4-57 of the course pdf; a snapshot is below:
By default, Enterprise Miner uses 10 bins for histograms; is there a way of changing that to a different default value without having to go through each individual chart and do it manually? The point is that when assessing several dozens inputs it is very time consuming to amend one chart at a time

Thank you for confirming this.
Perhaps an enhancement for the next version of Enterprise Miner 😊
