Beginning the week of July 20th, 2026, placements with impression format "video" will require that creatives have a value in the duration field and that the duration tag be included in ad requests for the video placements to serve. This change is meant to enforce the original intention to ensure that bid requests will only have type video if a duration is supplied.

 

Please review the "Add a Creative" section of the SAS® 360 Match: User’s Guide for information about the Duration field.  Also, review the SAS® 360 Match Request API documentation for information about the Duration tag.

Thanks for the heads up. That sounds like an important change, especially for anyone serving video ads through SAS 360 Match. I’d definitely make sure creatives have the duration field filled in and that the API requests include the duration tag before July 20 to avoid delivery issues.
