I'm enrolled in the Programming 1: Essentials course through SAS....but I've hit a road block.

I'm on a Mac, using SAS-on-Demand's SAS Studio. And the recommended data practice files syntax will not run on a "z/OS" system, just Windows, Linux, and UNIX. Any ideas for a work-around to get the practice files for the course?

Thanks

All of the Programming 1 files can be uploaded to and used on SAS On Demand for Academics.  SODA works on any computer that can use a current version of Chrome.

When you use Academics on Demand all the practice files are set up in the cloud, which is Linux system, not a windows system so they should run fine. AFAIK You will not be required to have files locally except for possible text (program files are text) or Excel files.

If you're having issues please explain exactly the steps you followed and post the exact errors from the log or a screenshot if it's a pop up.
