Do you mean SAS Enterprise Guide?

Which course are you talking about?

Hi: This is the forum for Programming 1 and Programming 2 classes. Since these are code classes, you should be able to take the class in any version of Enterprise Guide that is accessing SAS 9.4 behind the scenes (either a local or server install).

However, if you do NOT have Enterprise Guide available to practice, then either the free SAS University Edition with SAS Studio or SAS OnDemand for Academics with SAS Studio can be used for practicing. There is only 1 activity in the course that specifically is tailored for the EG student. All the other activities and practices can be done using any SAS editor talking to SAS 9.4. You do NOT need Enterprise Guide to take Programming 1 or Programming 2.

But if you DO have access to Enterprise Guide, then you CAN use the EG Editor to write the code.

The class is written so that any editor can be used.

Hope this clarifies that you do NOT need Enterprise Guide to take the course.
