Hi,

I am enrolled in the Programming 1 for SAS trying to begin prepping for the base examination. I am currently on lesson 1 and cannot access the enterprise guide. When I go to SAS OnDemand for Academics the only thing I see the SAS Studio. It says I have no courses and no enrollments but this makes no sense because on the SAS virtual environment dashboard page I can see that I am taking Programming 1 course. It is literally no where to be found. Please help, any assistance is appreciated. I do not have a professor or a code I was told that the programming 1 course was free.

You can use SAS Studio to perform the exercises&demonstration&practices for the programming 1 course. You do not need to use SAS Enterprise Guide. When you start the programming course that is explained in the setup section of the course. To start the eLearning course go here and click on start> https://support.sas.com/edu/schedules.html?ctry=us&crs=PROG1

Hi:
There are only a few demos in the class that use Enterprise Guide. As explained already, you do not need Enterprise Guide to take this class. Most of the demos, in the rest of the course, (after the beginning EG demos) will use SAS Studio. The Enterprise Guide instructions in the course are explicitly for students who will use Enterprise Guide through their work or school license. If you don't have access to EG at work or school, then your only choice with SAS OnDemand for Academics is to use SAS Studio.
