Hi, Dado:
Yes, there is a way to do what you want. In fact, there's more than one way to do what you want. However, what you want to do DOES depend on the environment/platform you have. For example, there's one way to do drill-down reporting with SAS that is a Base SAS method, using one or more of the reporting procedures and ODS.
However, that method/program would have to change in one way if you had the SAS/IntrNet product and would have to change in a slightly different way if you were using a stored process in the BI platform. And, this method might ALSO change, depending on whether you wanted to surface the reports in Web Report Studio vs the Information Delivery Portal vs the Add-in for Microsoft Office.
And, in the context of the BI platform (or the Enterprise Intelligence Platform) -- all of the client applications have ways to surface and drill down in OLAP cubes. OLAP cubes are data structures that are cross-tabular in look and feel when you view them and can have automatic drill-down built in.
I think your best bet for help is to contact SAS Technical Support. They can look at your particular installation/configuration of software and advise you on the best method to use. To contact Tech Support, go to
http://support.sas.com/ and in the left-hand navigation pane, click on the link entitled "Submit a Problem".
