interface among multiple data platforms

We are running SAS 8.2 on the z/OS platform. I'd like to know if it's possible to access ORACLE data which resides on the UNIX platform.

This is not really an ODS/Reporting question, so much as it is a data access question.

The answer is "it depends" -- on how SAS is licensed on your various servers and whether/where you have SAS/Access for Oracle licensed.

Generally speaking, if you have all the right pieces in the right places, then you could use the LIBNAME statement:[pre]
libname oralib oracle user=johndoe password=xxxxx path=YYYYYYYY;
[/pre]
OR, you could get to the ORACLE data using SAS/Access to ODBC or SAS/Access to OLE DB.
