Hi there,

I want to add more than 10 footnotes to a table, but I get the following WARNING on the log:

WARNING: FOOTNOTE statement number must be between 1 and 10. The statement will be ignored.

Why doesn't SAS support adding more than 10 footnotes, and How to fix it?

I have no idea about why it is limited to 10. If you have very looooooong footnotes, how about some other statements or options, such as: ods text, proc odstext, even postext= option if you are using proc report.

Thanks, I also want to indent the long footnote when wrapping . This approach also results in indentation between multiple footnotes, so I'm still wondering why SAS imposes such a limitation?
