Hi,
I have a template that uses the unicode 1F811B (heavy down arrow) outside a rectangle that gets drawn. It is part of the Symbola font and I have to specify that for it to show up. Example:
drawtext textattrs = (size = 10pt family = "Symbola" color = &dkblue. ) {unicode '1F81B'x} / ...;
The problem with this approach is when going to a PDF file, this font must be present on the viewing machine in order for the PDF file to render properly. This isn't a universal font like Arial, so this will be a problem.
Is there a workaround to getting the down arrow to appear?
This is being generated in Win 64 9.4 TS1M3.
Thanks!
