Topic for forum specifics - Moderator, please move me

I know this isn't a topic for base & ODS reporting, but it is a request for a forum on this forum. And I didn't know anywhere else where I could put it.

For example, I wanted to send a private message to the forum moderator for this request specific. I click on David Kelley (Mod?) and I get linked into one of the discussion areas?!?

I have used forums setup in a similar way, and know that many such features are available.

I don't want to complain about an excellent idea of this forum, but simply want to make suggestions of how to make it better!

So moderator, suggest private messaging – or open it up to the floor and find out what forum members think?
