Good day

Is it possible in SAS to combine pdf documents and create a Table of Contents for the combined pdf's. On the combined document the "Table of Contents" must have hyperlinks to get to preferred page and also have left and right headers as well as page number(preferably page 1 of n).

Please advise.

Not using SAS functions/processes directly AFAIK.

You can use the system tools (e.g Powershell in WIndows) and have SAS call those to combine the PDFs however it cannot do the TOC and Page Numbers.
When I had to do this, we ended up using Adobe Professional with their automation tools - it works very well and you can batch it. It's quite quick as well.

I have been using this open source utility to merge pdf files, it will also create a table of content.  Try the basic version for free and purchase the one that will meet your needs
