Good Afternoon,

I have data value ‘Ace & 8s’ and proc report is displaying ‘Aces & 8®s’

How can i show the actual data value in report ?

It looks like your origin data value contains some unicode .

You need to use compress() to keep the character you want.

I used the following code

test=notpring(Name);

if test>0 then Name=substr(Name,1,test-1) || substr(Name,test+1)

The value return for name was - ACES &8S

How can i get the value to shown as : ACES & 8s ?
